Project Architect, Luxury Markets

About the role

DLR Group’s Atlanta studio is seeking a Project Architect to lead design and technical development for luxury market projects within its Mixed‑Use, Workplace and Hospitality practices. The role works in a hybrid model, collaborating with an integrated design team to deliver high‑quality, experience‑driven environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day architectural design and technical development for luxury market projects.
• Coordinate all project documentation, ensuring compliance with schedules, budgets and work plans.
• Partner with the Project Manager to monitor financial health, document quality and claim prevention.
• Guide cross‑functional design disciplines (architecture, interior, engineering) in creating technical solutions.
• Participate in all design phases across varied project types, scales and locations.
• Foster collaboration and communication within the integrated design team.

Required profile

• Licensed architect with experience in mixed‑use, workplace or hospitality projects.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for design excellence.
• Strong teamwork orientation, integrity, curiosity and critical thinking.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high design standards.
