Production Manager

About the role

The Production Manager at RWB Thrift oversees all activities in the production room, ensuring merchandise is rolled, priced, and prepared for the sales floor efficiently. Working closely with store leadership, the role drives productivity, quality, and a positive work environment to support the thrift store’s overall success.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily production operations, including processing and rolling merchandise for the sales floor.
• Implement procedures to maximize productivity, minimize waste, and maintain consistent workflow.
• Conduct regular quality checks and address any issues promptly.
• Train, develop, and mentor production supervisors, fostering continuous improvement.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations for the production team.
• Adjust staffing levels to meet production demand and oversee scheduling and timekeeping.
• Participate in recruitment, interview candidates, and extend verbal offers.

Required profile

• Proven ability to supervise production activities and lead a team.
• Experience training and developing supervisors or similar staff.
• Strong focus on quality control and operational efficiency.
• Capability to manage staffing levels and adjust workforce as needed.
