Continuous Improvement Engineer – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Continuous Improvement / Industrial Engineer to lead process optimization, operational excellence and safety performance across our manufacturing operations. The role will partner with production, maintenance, quality and finance teams to make processes robust, repeatable and aligned with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on throughput, capacity, quality, reliability and cost reduction using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen or similar methodologies.
• Analyze production processes, material flow and equipment utilization to identify bottlenecks and implement sustainable improvements.
• Provide hands‑on engineering support to production and maintenance to enhance uptime and eliminate recurring issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production losses, quality escapes and equipment failures; ensure corrective actions are implemented and verified.
• Develop, standardize and maintain process documentation, work instructions and equipment specifications.
• Track and report KPIs related to production efficiency, downtime, quality and cost.
• Support budget planning through capacity analysis and productivity improvement recommendations.
• Deliver HSE and continuous improvement training to employees and perform risk assessments.
• Conduct accident investigations, identify root causes and implement preventive actions.
• Monitor HSE metrics, ensure compliance with regulations and perform routine audits.
