About the role
Knife Drop Studios, the production company behind celebrity chef Nick DiGiovanni, is seeking an hourly Production Assistant to support a variety of video projects. This on‑site role is based in the Greater Boston Area and offers hands‑on experience in fast‑paced content creation.
Key responsibilities
- Organize and coordinate video shoots, including scheduling and logistics.
- Run errands and provide on‑set support such as equipment transport.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of production gear.
- Support day‑to‑day operations of the production team.
- Collaborate closely with Nick DiGiovanni and crew to ensure smooth workflow.
Required profile
- Current residence in the Greater Boston Area.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable access to a car.
- 1‑2+ years experience in video or theater production environments.
- Highly flexible schedule, including early mornings, late nights, weekends.
- Positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to tackle any task.
- Strong communication skills via text, email, and in‑person.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in film, media production, communications, or related field.
