Production Assistant

About the role

Knife Drop Studios, the production company behind celebrity chef Nick DiGiovanni, is seeking an hourly Production Assistant to support a variety of video projects. This on‑site role is based in the Greater Boston Area and offers hands‑on experience in fast‑paced content creation.

Key responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate video shoots, including scheduling and logistics.
• Run errands and provide on‑set support such as equipment transport.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of production gear.
• Support day‑to‑day operations of the production team.
• Collaborate closely with Nick DiGiovanni and crew to ensure smooth workflow.

Required profile

• Current residence in the Greater Boston Area.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable access to a car.
• 1‑2+ years experience in video or theater production environments.
• Highly flexible schedule, including early mornings, late nights, weekends.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to tackle any task.
• Strong communication skills via text, email, and in‑person.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in film, media production, communications, or related field.
