Product Designer

About the role

Helpware is building an AI platform for the legal industry and needs a Product Designer to shape the look, feel, and functionality of its product. You will work directly with founders and engineers to create intuitive, trustworthy experiences for professional users in a fast‑moving, early‑stage environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end product design, from problem framing and user flows to wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity UI.
• Design clear, intuitive interfaces for complex, information‑dense workflows such as document review and analysis.
• Partner closely with front‑end engineers to ship pixel‑accurate, responsive, and accessible UI.
• Talk to users to understand real workflows and validate designs.
• Build and maintain a design system and component library as the product grows.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of product design experience shipping real software, preferably web applications.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end work, including flows, interaction design, and polished UI.
• Self‑direction and clear communication in a small, distributed team.
• Interest in AI/LLM products and designing for trust.

Required skills

• Fluency in Figma, including prototyping and working from a design system.
• Comfort with HTML/CSS or habit of collaborating closely with engineers in code.
