Portfolio Manager, Wearables

About the role

Stryker is hiring a Portfolio Manager, Wearables, to own the full hardware portfolio strategy for Smart Care's wearable devices, including the hands-free communication badge and future wearable products. The role covers roadmap ownership, upstream marketing strategy, value proposition development, financial modeling, competitive analysis and integration of wearables into the broader Smart Hospital platform. The position is hybrid, based near a Stryker site and traveling 30% to San Jose, CA.

Key responsibilities

• Own the wearable hardware roadmap, including priorities, lifecycle plans and strategic direction aligned to the Smart Hospital ecosystem.
• Lead new product development (NPD) end-to-end with engineering, design, regulatory and clinical teams, turning customer insights into requirements and prioritization.
• Define portfolio and positioning strategy, including value propositions, segmentation and positioning frameworks.
• Leverage Voice of Customer, KOL engagement and market research to turn insights into business recommendations.
• Build business cases and financial models to guide pricing, forecasting, roadmap investments and lifecycle tradeoffs.
• Monitor competitors, market trends and emerging technologies and communicate findings to leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Align the wearable strategy with voice software, mobile apps, RTLS and other connectivity solutions.
• Establish and monitor portfolio KPIs on adoption, retention and commercial performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• 4+ years of work experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects on established timelines.
• Experience in healthcare technology, medical devices, MedTech or SaaS environments.
