Orthopedic Clinician – Clinical Education Specialist

About the role

Essity seeks an experienced Orthopedic Clinician to provide clinical expertise, education, and training on its orthopedic product line across multiple US territories. The role involves building strong customer relationships, delivering presentations, and supporting trade shows.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver expert clinical consultations and education to customers within the assigned territory, including live and virtual presentations.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and the National Key Account Manager to develop and present educational programs.
• Coordinate educational rollouts, set up product trials, and support industry trade shows.
• Document activities in CRM and expense systems, and identify opportunities to improve customer outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or healthcare certification in a related field.
• 3–5 years of healthcare industry experience, with 5–10 years in an orthopedic practice as a technician or ER nurse/technician.
• Orthopedic Technologist Certified (OTC) and Registered Orthopedic Technologist (ROT) required within 90 days of hire.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% domestically and work flexible shifts, including weekends for events.

Required skills

• Expert-level splinting and casting application.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong presentation and customer‑relationship skills.
• Analytical ability to determine root causes for clinical variations.
