Police Officer – Night Shift

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a dedicated Police Officer to join its Public Safety team on the Little Rock campus. This position works the night shift and supports the safety and security of students, staff, patients, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide law‑enforcement presence and respond to incidents on the UAMS campus during night hours.
• Enforce university policies, state laws, and regulations.
• Document incidents, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with campus partners to promote a safe environment.

Required profile

• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Ability to work the designated night shift.
