Physician - Vascular Surgeon, Director of Limb Salvage

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified Vascular Surgeon to serve as Director of Limb Salvage at its flagship medical center in New Orleans. The physician will provide and coordinate patient care while leading a multidisciplinary limb‑salvage program.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive vascular surgical care and oversee limb‑salvage procedures for patients with chronic limb‑threatening ischemia (CLTI).
• Collaborate with podiatry, wound care, plastic surgery, infectious disease, endocrinology, and hyperbaric therapy teams to deliver integrated treatment.

Required profile

• Board Certified in Vascular Surgery.
• Demonstrated experience managing CLTI patients and leading multidisciplinary programs.

Required skills

• Vascular surgery techniques.
• Limb‑salvage procedural expertise.
• Proficiency with the EPIC electronic medical record system.
