Pharmacist

About the role

We are looking for a licensed pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy in Pendleton, Indiana. The role involves compounding, dispensing, and providing medication counseling to customers while ensuring compliance with all legal and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and fill prescription and refill requests accurately and courteously.
• Dispense medications, including counting, weighing, mixing, packaging, and labeling.
• Provide counseling on prescription and over‑the‑counter drugs, including dosage, interactions, side effects, and storage.
• Order, receive, stock, and perform cycle counts of pharmaceutical inventory.
• Inspect incoming shipments for quality, quantity, and proper storage conditions.
• Maintain pharmacy records, including customer profiles, insurance forms, POS data, and controlled‑substance logs.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and interns to ensure efficient service.
• Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, well‑stocked, and compliant with company policies.
• Implement pharmacy programs such as security measures and immunizations as assigned.

Required profile

• Current knowledge of pharmacy regulations, industry trends, and best practices.
