People Operations Manager

About the role

SF Compute is building a liquid market for GPU offtake and needs a dedicated People Operations Manager to own and scale its HR function. You will transition the current vendor‑managed HR processes in‑house and create the operational backbone that supports a fast‑growing team of 56+ employees.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of People Operations, moving all HR processes from the external vendor to internal systems within the first 30‑45 days.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and programs that enable the organization to scale.
• Partner with the Recruiter, Office Manager, and People Lead to align HR initiatives with business goals.
• Manage employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and compliance.
• Provide data‑driven insights and reporting on headcount, turnover, and other key HR metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience building HR operations in a high‑growth, technology‑focused environment.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a strong bias toward creating effective processes from scratch.
• Excellent judgment, ability to prioritize, and skill in escalating issues when needed.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence cross‑functional partners.
