About the role

The Pediatric Psychology Clerkship (CW) is a graduate assistantship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. The student will work onsite in the CW Peds Schmieding Center Clinic, providing direct clinical services while receiving instructional training and supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral, cognitive, and developmental assessments in outpatient settings.
• Participate in educational activities such as grand rounds and case conferences on developmental pediatrics.
• Follow patients' medical progress and provide consultation as needed.
• Document clinical findings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.

Required profile

• Graduate student in psychology or a related field seeking a clerkship.
• Authorized to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Fully vaccinated against Covid‑19 or holding an approved medical or religious exemption.
• Willingness to work onsite in Springdale, AR.

Required skills

• Ability to conduct behavioral, cognitive, and developmental assessments.
• Familiarity with outpatient clinical environments.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with patients, families, and the clinical team.
