Patient Scheduling Specialist

About the role

PsychPlus is looking for a detail‑oriented Patient Scheduling Specialist to join its operations team. You will be the first point of contact for patients calling in, ensuring they receive timely and compassionate appointment scheduling for mental health services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of inbound calls and schedule patient appointments accurately.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and internal teams to optimize scheduling workflows.
• Maintain and update patient records within EHR/EMR systems.
• Handle rescheduling, cancellations, and follow‑ups efficiently.
• Meet daily performance and scheduling targets while delivering professional patient care.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling high inbound call volumes.
• Prior experience in appointment scheduling or healthcare coordination.
• Background in mental health or behavioral health is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work on‑site during night shifts.
