Patient Care Nurse Supervisor – Emergency Department

About the role

We are seeking a Patient Care Nurse Supervisor for the Emergency Department at Baptist Health. The role involves leading direct patient care RN activities, ensuring high‑quality, patient‑family centered care in a fast‑paced emergency setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide and oversee direct patient care, applying assessment, intervention and evaluation techniques.
• Lead a nursing team, promoting evidence‑based practice and safety standards.
• Coordinate patient‑family communication and ensure culturally competent care.
• Maintain professional accountability, documentation and compliance with hospital policies.
• Support staff development and serve as a resource for clinical decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Active Registered Nurse license.
• Certifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
