Part‑Time Production Assistant – Studio Operations

About the role

Tonal is looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented Production Assistant to support day‑to‑day studio operations for live and pre‑recorded fitness content. This part‑time position offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and break down the studio, preparing stage, lighting, props, and talent needs for each shoot.
• Assist on‑set by advancing slides, cueing timers, tracking reps, and managing lighting cues.
• Reset the stage between shoots, ensuring equipment accuracy, cleanliness, and readiness.
• Capture thumbnail and supporting photos for production assets.
• Partner with directors and producers during blocking to align class flow and on‑screen materials.
• Monitor rehearsals and live shoots for inconsistencies and flag issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked studio, including kitchen and bathroom supplies.
• Handle opening and closing procedures, power equipment, set lighting states, and prepare talent amenities.
• Provide general support to the Production Manager, Office Coordinator, and studio team with errands and ad‑hoc requests.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Production Assistant preferred.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast‑moving studio environment.
• Proactive, dependable, and able to multitask effectively.
