Parts Room Associate – 2nd Shift

About the role

The Parts Room Associate works the second shift to keep our parts inventory organized, accurate, and readily available for internal teams. This role involves handling incoming and outgoing parts, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory policies.

Key responsibilities

• Order parts and monitor inventory levels to stay within acceptable thresholds.
• Receive, unpack, and stock parts on shelves promptly.
• Enter requisitions, work orders, and inventory movements into the computer system accurately.
• Complete required documentation for all transactions in a timely manner.
• Distribute parts to requestors and track outgoing product.
• Follow all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous inventory or parts handling experience preferred.
• Intermediate math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to work unsupervised, stay motivated, and adhere to a night/weekend schedule.
• Demonstrated honesty, strong work ethic, and moral character.

Required skills

• Computer skills for inventory software entry.
• Intermediate math calculations.
• Basic inventory management techniques.
