Parts Room Associate – 2nd Shift

About the role

The Parts Room Associate works the second shift, supporting inventory management and ensuring parts are accurately received, stocked, and distributed. This position operates in a wet and cold environment and follows all company and regulatory policies.

Key responsibilities

• Order parts and maintain inventory at acceptable levels.
• Receive, verify, and distribute parts as needed.
• Enter requisitions and work orders into the computer system promptly and accurately.
• Complete required documentation and paperwork in a timely manner.
• Stock parts on shelves upon receipt.
• Adhere to company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and all applicable laws.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervision.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work unsupervised, self‑motivate, and stand for a 12‑hour shift.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
• Physical ability to lift up to 15 lb frequently, occasionally 40 lb, and perform frequent reaching, bending, kneeling, and crawling.
• Capability to work in a wet, cold environment (around 45 °F/4 °C).
• Commitment to safety policies and use of required PPE.

Required skills

• Intermediate math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
• Computer skills for inventory system entry.
