Partner Manager, Global Health

About the role

Anthropic is seeking a Partner Manager to lead its global health initiatives within the Beneficial Deployments team. You will shape the clinical AI research agenda, ensuring Claude, Anthropic’s AI system, is safe, effective, and validated for use in low‑ and middle‑income countries.

Key responsibilities

• Own the clinical research and evaluation agenda for global health, defining proof points, standards, and partner collaborations.
• Design validation frameworks for large language models in LMIC contexts, covering accuracy, safety, multilingual performance, and real‑world conditions.
• Develop theories of change and outcome metrics linking model capabilities to care quality, health‑worker performance, and patient outcomes.
• Build and manage global research partnerships and engage with regulatory bodies such as WHO and national authorities.
• Partner with internal research and product teams to adapt Claude for clinical use in low‑resource settings.
• Contribute to broader global health strategy, supporting adjacent workstreams and acting as a thought partner.

Required profile

• Medical training and clinical practice (MD, GP, MBBS, DO, or equivalent) with direct experience delivering care in low‑resource environments.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical research, evaluation design, or health‑system implementation.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and ethical frameworks governing health technologies.
