Part-Time Tailor – Retail Store

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking a part‑time Tailor to join the Levi’s® store at Times Square. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will deliver high‑quality alteration services and support the overall customer experience in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic alterations such as hemming, patching, repairing and tapering, as well as more technical tailoring tasks that require specialized equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing tailor‑related concerns and ensuring consumer satisfaction.
• Educate and train store team members on tailoring services and Levi’s® standards.
• Assist with cash handling and merchandise procedures in the Tailor Shop.
• Promote current fashion trends, promotions, and the Red Tab Loyalty program to shoppers.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of denim, textiles and current fashion trends.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical capability to lift up to 40 lb and perform standing, walking, kneeling and reaching tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
