Part-Time Forklift Operator – Syracuse, NY

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a part‑time Forklift Operator for its Syracuse, NY service center. You will safely move freight in and out of trailers and operate a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock. The position offers a starting wage of $25.90 per hour and immediate use of paid time off.

Key responsibilities

• Move all types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long.
• Operate a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.

Required profile

• Ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests and interact with a computer display.
• Prior forklift experience, preferably in a fast‑paced environment.
• Dependable work ethic and ability to keep up with a rapid workflow.
• Experience with less‑than‑truckload (LTL) operations is a plus.
