OTC IT SAP Functional Lead / Product Owner

About the role

As an OTC IT SAP Functional Lead / Product Owner at 3m, you will partner with business and IT teams to define priorities, manage the product backlog, and deliver SAP solutions that improve order management, fulfillment efficiency, and customer experience. This role blends deep SAP S/4HANA Order Management expertise with strong communication and autonomous delivery skills.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SAP Order Management and Fulfillment functional initiatives.
• Own and prioritize the OTC product backlog.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert for OTC processes and related integrations.
• Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions and user stories.
• Support JIRA and Scrum activities, including sprint planning, testing, and releases.
• Identify and implement improvements to OTC processes such as order management, POA, ASN, ATP, etc.
• Provide change‑management, adoption, and user communication support.
• Guide project teams, business stakeholders, and offshore resources.
• Prepare functional specifications and support technical development.
• Coordinate testing activities (PIT, UAT, regression) and support cutover, deployment, hypercare, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, designs, test cases, and support procedures.
• Report status regularly to project leadership and contribute to governance and best‑practice standards.

Required profile

• Hands‑on SAP Functional Lead with strong S/4HANA Order Management experience.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, gather and analyze information quickly.
• Experience leading business‑critical fulfillment initiatives.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders across customer service, supply chain, and IT.
