Operations Coordinator – Returns Management

About the role

The Returns Operations Coordinator supports the site leader in managing product returns and ensuring operational effectiveness at a client location. Working primarily in an office or warehouse environment, the role focuses on meeting key performance indicators through careful planning, scheduling, and coordination of distribution services.

Key responsibilities

• Apply LEAN Six Sigma principles throughout the warehouse.
• Follow SOPs for product return and truck check‑in processes daily.
• Accurately assign reason codes to returned items and report compliance.
• Monitor and achieve KPIs related to returns handling.
• Assist with dispatching, routing, and transportation tracking activities.
• Foster open, positive communication within the team.
• Build strong relationships with motor carriers and hold them accountable for damaged or returned products.
• Communicate daily goals, devise action plans, and motivate staff to meet operational targets.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Strong people and operational management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal and customer service skills, including conflict resolution.
• Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced logistics environment.
