About the role
As an NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) Test Engineer at 3M, you will lead and perform testing projects that validate vehicle and component solutions, collaborating with global teams to optimize designs.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and perform testing to validate full‑vehicle and component solutions for noise, vibration, harshness and thermal management.
- Analyze test results, provide recommendations, and verify product requirements.
- Develop, implement, and standardize advanced test methods and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with development engineers, application engineers, and account managers to support design optimization.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline.
- At least 1 year of NVH or acoustics experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Required skills
- Proficiency in NVH test methods and data acquisition systems.
- Experience with NVH system development and testing for commercial vehicles.
- Strong analytical, product development and planning abilities.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
