Nutrition Service Assistant (Part-Time)

About the role

The Nutrition Service Assistant supports the daily operations of the school cafeteria, providing food preparation and service for students. This part‑time position works two hours each morning, ensuring a safe and clean environment for meal service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of food in the school cafeteria.
• Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas according to sanitation standards.
• Maintain proper food storage and handling procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (proof required if hired).
• Professional letter of recommendation with signature.
• Resume submitted with application.
• Pre‑employment TB clearance and fingerprinting (employee cost).
• Preference given to internal candidates.

Required skills

• Food safety certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
