Network Lead Engineer – Infrastructure Project Lead

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Network Lead Engineer to act as an Infrastructure Project Lead. You will drive project delivery for networking solutions, coordinate between technical teams and clients, and ensure high‑quality outcomes across the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed project timelines and proactively address resource gaps to meet delivery dates.
• Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and clients, facilitating regular meetings and milestone reviews.
• Support production support operations, focusing on incident resolution, efficient deployments, and smooth change implementation.
• Monitor deliverables across all phases to ensure they meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
• Manage project risks, governance, and identify additional opportunities for value creation.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Cisco routers and switches.
• Experience with LAN/WAN topologies and routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
• Configuration expertise in HSRP, GLBP, VRRP.
• Traffic manipulation using OSPF/EIGRP/BGP.
• Proficiency in VLAN, L3 switching, STP, PVST/RPVST+.
• Understanding of datacenter networking concepts.
