National Fellowships Program Coordinator

About the role

The Office of National Fellowships at Texas A&M University seeks a proactive, student‑centered Program Coordinator to manage outreach and coordination of national fellowship and internal award opportunities. This part‑time position will serve as a primary point of contact for students, faculty, and campus partners, guiding applicants through competitive fellowship processes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate campus review processes, maintain timelines, collect and organize application materials, and communicate requirements to applicants.
• Recruit and manage campus committee members, schedule meetings, prepare materials, and track feedback and decisions.
• Maintain the Office’s website and fellowship database, ensuring accurate, up‑to‑date information for students and staff.
• Provide individual and group advising to students, explaining eligibility, application procedures, and deadlines.
• Support data collection, reporting, and assessment activities, identifying and correcting inconsistencies in records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any field; two years of experience in academic advising, scholarship/fellowship administration, or related higher‑education support roles.
• Strong organizational ability, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple deadlines and sensitive student information.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data tracking and analysis.
• Experience creating and managing forms in Google Forms.
