Mobile Engineer

About the role

Prolaio is seeking a motivated Mobile Software Engineer to enhance its mobile application that connects patients, care teams, and researchers on a secure platform for precision cardiology. You will work closely with backend engineers, data scientists, and product teams to deliver scalable, high‑impact mobile solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android mobile applications using Kotlin.
• Integrate state‑of‑the‑art algorithms and RESTful APIs into the app.
• Optimize performance, ensuring efficiency, reusability, and responsiveness across devices.
• Write unit and UI automation tests with Espresso, UI Automator, JUnit, and Appium.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product owners, and engineers to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Tackle complex technical challenges and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Mobile Software Engineer, Android Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
