Member of Technical Staff, Computational Pathology

About the role

Ataraxis AI is seeking a Member of Technical Staff to advance computational pathology research. You will develop cutting‑edge machine‑learning models that help predict patient outcomes and support precision medicine.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement novel machine‑learning models for computational pathology.
• Translate research papers in machine learning and statistics into production‑ready code.
• Build robust evaluation frameworks and continuously monitor model performance.
• Co‑author research papers and abstracts to disseminate findings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists.
• Co‑mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• PhD in machine learning, computer vision, statistics, or a related field.
• Strong research drive, attention to detail, and ability to deliver tasks end‑to‑end.
• Track record of publications in top conferences (ICML, ICLR, NeurIPS, CVPR) or journals.
• Deep understanding of core machine‑learning concepts and statistical foundations.
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch.
• Experience with deep learning applied to computational pathology.
