Medical Surgical Registered Nurse – Full Time Days with $15K Sign-On

About the role

The Medical‑Surgical Registered Nurse works under the direction of physicians and in accordance with the Arizona State Nurse Practice Act to deliver high‑quality nursing care. The RN utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while maintaining compassion, accuracy, and teamwork.

Key responsibilities

• Provide evidence‑based care to prevent healthcare‑acquired conditions and readmissions.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement nursing interventions, monitor patient responses, and adjust plans as needed.
• Practice standard precautions and maintain infection‑control standards.
• Assist with orientation of new staff and coordinate nursing personnel to ensure quality patient care.

Required profile

• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma.
• Current, valid Arizona RN license (or compact state license) and current BLS certification.
• Basic EKG competency within 3 months of hire.
• Minimum five years of nursing experience for full‑time weekend or evening shifts.
• At least one year of experience in an acute care or Med‑Surg setting for seasonal positions.

Required skills

• Basic EKG competency.
