Medical Doctor – Telehealth & On‑Site Care

About the role

ELEMED™ is seeking a board‑certified Medical Doctor to join its innovative, on‑site team in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The physician will deliver high‑quality telehealth consultations while collaborating with registered nurses who provide hands‑on care in fully equipped medical vans.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct remote diagnoses and prescribe treatments for primary, urgent, and aesthetic care needs.
• Work closely with on‑site nurses to ensure seamless patient care across telehealth and in‑van services.
• Maintain compliance with medical standards, HIPAA regulations, and ELEMED™ protocols.
• Document patient encounters accurately in the company’s health records system.

Required profile

• Valid medical license and board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
• Strong communication skills for effective telehealth interactions.
• Commitment to patient‑centric care with a reassuring demeanor.
• Experience in managing acute and chronic conditions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with telemedicine platforms (experience preferred).
• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and related healthcare regulations.
• Ability to collaborate with registered nurses and other clinical staff.
