About the role
The MBA Student Services Program Manager supports the MBA Program Office at the McDonough School of Business, enhancing the overall student experience through event coordination, office operations, and financial oversight of student organizations.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute major program events such as Orientation, Commencement, Hoya Hubs, alumni initiatives, and leadership gatherings.
- Manage event logistics, vendor relationships, catering, and on‑site setup while supporting student clubs in their event planning.
- Oversee daily office functions, including front‑desk management, communications, and supervision of student staff.
- Assist senior leaders with data tracking, reporting, budgeting, and strategic initiatives.
- Administer financial processes for over 50 MBA student organizations, handling budgets, reimbursements, procurement card reconciliation, approvals, compliance, and audits.
- Provide administrative support to the Senior Associate Dean, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and expense reconciliation.
Required profile
- Experience in event management, office operations, and financial administration within an academic or similar environment.
- Ability to collaborate with senior leadership, student organizations, and multiple university departments.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple priorities.
