Markets Director – San Francisco Bay Area

About the role

Riveron is seeking a Markets Director to lead business development in the San Francisco Bay Area. This senior position focuses on opening new client conversations, leveraging a strong local network, and collaborating with practice and service leaders to convert relationships into revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a market‑specific business development strategy in partnership with senior leadership.
• Identify, pursue, and nurture new opportunities with corporate clients, private companies, strategic partners, and investors.
• Leverage personal and professional networks to generate high‑value introductions and expand Riveron’s presence.
• Partner with Managing Directors, Client Service Directors, and practice leaders to bring expertise into client engagements.
• Maintain accurate pipeline data in Salesforce and lead pipeline discussions with firm leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in business development, client relationship management, or professional services.
• Extensive network in the San Francisco Bay Area, including corporate executives, private‑equity professionals, board members, lenders, and advisors.
• Proven track record of meeting sales quotas and generating revenue.
• Strong executive presence, communication skills, and disciplined follow‑through.
