Marketing & New Business Development Manager – I&I

About the role

We are seeking a Marketing and New Business Development Manager for the Industrial & Institutional (I&I) and Hard Surface Cleaning (HSC) segments within BASF’s Care Chemicals division. Based in Florham Park, NJ, you will help shape market strategies, drive growth, and create innovative cleaning solutions for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute segment marketing strategies for I&I and HSC markets, using market trends and customer insights to increase penetration.
• Lead account‑based marketing initiatives for key customers, building strong relationships and delivering tailored value propositions.
• Drive innovation and reformulation projects from concept through launch, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Translate market, consumer, and competitive insights into actionable growth and innovation plans.
• Monitor performance metrics and adjust tactics to achieve business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in marketing and business development within industrial or consumer cleaning sectors.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across R&D, sales, and supply‑chain functions.
