Marketing Director – Nashville

About the role

Tanger is looking for a Marketing Director to lead the development and execution of the annual marketing plan for its Nashville shopping center. The role blends strategic planning with hands‑on business development, allowing you to work both independently and collaboratively within a flexible, team‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual marketing plan and budget that drives center sales, foot traffic, sponsorship, and media revenue.
• Serve as the primary business development representative, prospecting, canvassing, and closing media, sponsorship, and non‑transactional revenue deals to meet regional revenue goals.
• Monitor and maintain the marketing budget, account for variances, and adjust plans in real time based on business conditions.
• Prepare monthly financial forecasts, tracking revenue and expenses, and provide regular updates to the General Manager.
• Assist the General Manager in creating a comprehensive strategic business plan for the center.
• Collaborate on national and regional marketing initiatives as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in developing and managing marketing plans and budgets for retail or commercial properties.
• Demonstrated success in business development, including prospecting and closing sponsorship or media agreements.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast financial performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Ability to work autonomously while partnering effectively with cross‑functional teams.
