Manufacturing Production Supervisor – Military Aircraft Group (2nd Shift)

About the role

Moog’s Military Aircraft Group is seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Buffalo, NY. You will lead a team of machinists in a high‑performance machine shop, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets while building workforce capability.

Key responsibilities

• Directly manage 30‑40 employees in a machine‑shop environment, overseeing daily production activities.
• Collaborate with the Manufacturing Manager to create and execute Value Stream Improvement Plans.
• Set short‑ and long‑term team goals aligned with corporate strategy.
• Apply standard work documents to maximize equipment and personnel efficiency.
• Recruit, hire, evaluate, and develop staff, handling performance feedback and employee relations.
• Maintain accurate time reporting and enforce personnel policies consistently.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• At least 5 years of direct management experience, preferably in manufacturing.
