About the role

The Semiconductor Fabrication Operator Level 1 (Manufacturing Operator) is an entry‑level position at Bosch’s new silicon‑carbide semiconductor fab in Roseville, California. You will join a team that produces SiC chips on 200‑mm wafers, learning to operate basic fabrication and test equipment while ensuring product quality under supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in on‑the‑job training and complete all required equipment certifications.
• Operate assigned fabrication and measurement equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow written specifications and maintain 100 % compliance for qualified tasks.
• Record production activities accurately and report material discrepancies as directed.
• Collaborate with trainers to develop fabrication techniques and basic problem‑solving skills.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; interest in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Ability to work in a shift‑based environment, initially Monday‑Thursday 7 am‑5 pm.
• Willingness to learn and follow detailed procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
