Managing Director - Private Members Club (Pre-Opening)

About the role

Paris Society is developing a new private members club in Key Biscayne, Miami, set to open in spring 2027. It will offer dining, sports, wellness and social experiences, including a French coastal restaurant, a Japanese restaurant, a nine-court Racket Club, a Fitness & Wellness Centre, a Kids Club and cafes. The Managing Director leads pre-opening and launch and oversees the member experience, commercial performance, team leadership and strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all pre-opening activities, including operational planning, recruitment, training and launch readiness
• Establish a high-performing culture rooted in hospitality, service excellence and member engagement
• Provide strategic leadership across food & beverage, membership, wellness, recreation, events and guest services
• Build and develop a leadership team
• Serve as the face of the Club, building relationships with members, ownership, community partners and stakeholders
• Drive membership engagement, retention and community-building
• Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue growth and operational efficiency
• Partner with Paris Society and ownership to achieve strategic and commercial objectives

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive leadership in luxury hospitality, private clubs, resorts or lifestyle destinations
• Previous experience as a General Manager, Managing Director, Club Manager or comparable executive role
• Proven pre-opening leadership experience in a luxury hospitality, resort or membership-driven business
• Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-outlet hospitality operations
• Experience building large, high-performing teams
• Experience in luxury private clubs or membership-based hospitality is highly desirable
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
