About the role

The Manager, Clinical Operations will lead the delivery of clinical services within the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. This senior position is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day operations, ensuring high‑quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient use of resources across peri‑operative services.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate clinical operations, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow optimization.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations and quality standards.
• Develop and manage operational budgets, monitor financial performance, and drive cost‑effective initiatives.
• Collaborate with clinical leaders, physicians, and support teams to improve patient care processes.
• Lead continuous improvement projects, data analysis, and reporting to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in health administration, nursing, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Significant experience managing clinical or peri‑operative operations in a hospital or health‑system environment.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality improvement methodologies.
