Manager, Business Strategy & Analytics

About the role

The Business Strategy & Analytics Department of the Chicago Bulls seeks a proactive Manager to drive data‑focused decision making across the organization. You will partner with key stakeholders to translate fan insights into actionable strategies that enhance fan experience and business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide organization‑wide stakeholders with data‑driven perspectives on fan demographics, preferences, and behaviors using primary and secondary research.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Content and other departments to set project goals, define success metrics, and track fan engagement.
• Design and implement strategic solutions such as dashboards, reports, and trackers to monitor historical, current, and projected performance of key business metrics.
• Create, maintain, and evolve fan feedback surveys; distill insights for senior leaders.
• Conduct global, national, and local fan research and share findings internally.
• Leverage third‑party syndicated research to uncover brand and customer experience insights.
• Perform ad‑hoc analysis to answer specific business questions and deliver measurable recommendations.
• Manage and develop analyst(s), providing direction and fostering a collaborative, innovative environment.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in consulting, finance, strategy, business operations, or analytics.
• 1+ years of staff management experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree with a strong record of achievement.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Critical thinking and problem‑solving expertise with large data sets.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Data visualization using Tableau.
