Maintenance Technician – Wylde

About the role

The Maintenance Technician – Wylde is responsible for ensuring that the physical components of Eagle Creek’s residential property in Indianapolis meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This onsite role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Accurately document all service activities and maintain up‑to‑date paperwork.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and performing general cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.
• Adhere to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, participating in routine safety meetings.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs safely and effectively.
