Maintenance Technician – Wylde (Eagle Creek)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Wylde community at Eagle Creek. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas safe, functional, and presentable.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
• Participate in safety and risk‑management meetings and adhere to Greystar’s safety policies.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose defects and perform repairs in line with established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Capability to conduct make‑ready inspections, create punch lists, and coordinate vendors.
• Proficiency in tracking inventory and managing supply orders.
• Strong documentation skills to ensure accurate service records.
• Willingness to maintain grounds, perform cleaning, and carry out painting tasks.
• Commitment to safety and participation in routine safety meetings.
