Maintenance Technician – Wylde at Eagle Creek (Sign-On Bonus)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Wylde at Eagle Creek community. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to ensure the property’s buildings, grounds, and amenities meet safety, appearance, and functionality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal, and painting as required.
• Inspect contractor work and assist with routine property inspections to identify safety concerns.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and respond to on‑call duties.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart where applicable.

Required skills

• EPA Type 1 certification for refrigerant handling.
• EPA Type 2 certification for refrigerant handling.
• EPA Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
• Refrigerant recycling certification.
