Maintenance Technician – Trails at Hunter's Lake

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Trails community at Hunter’s Lake in Tampa. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas clean, safe and fully functional.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests and maintenance activities accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when possible and minimizing waste of materials.

Required profile

• Available to work Monday‑Friday with a rotating on‑call schedule.
• Ability to perform physical labor and operate basic maintenance tools and equipment.
• Attention to detail for inspections, documentation and inventory tracking.
