Maintenance Technician – The Point at Lakewood Ranch

About the role

The Maintenance Technician at The Point at Lakewood Ranch ensures that all building systems, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal, and painting as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• EPA certifications Type 1, Type II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All certifications required by state and local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property, if applicable.
