Maintenance Technician – The Missions at Rio Vista

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Missions at Rio Vista. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas clean, safe and fully functional.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, obtaining supplies and completing all necessary repairs.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests and maintenance activities accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of property maintenance experience, including apartment maintenance troubleshooting and turn work.
• Availability to work Tuesday‑Saturday, 9 am‑6 pm, with on‑call duties as needed.
