Maintenance Technician – La Morada (Weston)

About the role

This position performs technical and mechanical work to ensure the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and overall functionality. The role supports both resident service requests and preventative maintenance for the La Morada at Weston property.

Key responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing defects in accordance with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, supply procurement, task completion, and final inspection.
• Manage inventory of materials, supplies, tools, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor when re‑ordering is needed.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.

Required profile

• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb unaided and 50 lb with assistance, and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule including Monday‑Friday with rotating on‑call evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• EPA Type 1 and Type 2 or Universal refrigerant recycling certification, plus any state/local certifications required for service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property.
