Maintenance Technician - Inspire Downtown

About the role

The Maintenance Technician for Inspire Downtown ensures that all building systems, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time position works on a residential property portfolio in San Antonio, Texas.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete assigned work orders, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Conduct preventative maintenance across the property to keep mechanical and technical systems operating efficiently.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, performing pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating vendors or contractors as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each task.

Required profile

• Experience performing technical and mechanical maintenance in a residential or commercial setting.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, maintenance manuals, and building codes.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for interacting with residents and coordinating with external vendors.
