Maintenance Technician – District on La Frontera

About the role

The Maintenance Technician for the District on La Frontera is responsible for ensuring that the building’s physical components, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.
• Adhere to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, participating in routine safety meetings.

Required profile

• Ability to perform technical and mechanical work on building systems and amenities.

• Physical capability to handle cleaning, pressure‑washing, painting and general maintenance tasks.
