Maintenance Technician – Citizen House Blue Bluff

About the role

This position performs technical and mechanical work to ensure the buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final inspection.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, reorder as needed and ensure proper storage.
• Document service requests accurately and timely, and assist with grounds, common areas and amenity upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing and painting.

Required profile

• Adherence to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, including OSHA training and incident reporting.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and respond to on‑call duties.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb unaided and 50 lb with assistance, and work in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• EPA Type I certification for refrigerant recycling.
• EPA Type II certification for refrigerant recycling.
• Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property.
