Maintenance Technician – Aventura Clear Creek

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of the Aventura Clear Creek property—including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This onsite role involves responding to resident requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and conduct preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to perform technical and mechanical work safely and efficiently.
• Experience reading and following work orders, safety procedures and property standards.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation and inventory management.
• Willingness to work onsite and collaborate with vendors and supervisors.
